The CLP has decided to forego treatment of starry stonewort in the three proposed zones for this season. Preliminary surveys of the areas reveal an abundance of diverse native plants and less SSW than expected. As such, the CLP will await the 2024 plant survey results and assess SSW control needs for 2025. The treatment of the 1.78 acres adjacent to the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel is still planned for Tuesday morning, 7/30.
