Meet and Greet Members of the Chautauqua Lake Partnership
February 27, 2018
Although the frozen lake would tell us otherwise, now is the time to have a conversation about the issues surrounding Chautauqua Lake. The Chautauqua Lake Partnership (CLP) will be hosting a “meet and greet” event on February 27 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the See-Zurh House in Bemus Point. Community members are encouraged to get out of hibernation and attend this worthy gathering. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to learn about the eight projects CLP Board of Directors are actively involved in. Some of those projects include: community outreach, Bemus Bay remediation, weed cutting mitigation, shoreline clean up, and herbicide treatments of selected areas.
The Chautauqua Lake Partnership is a non-profit organization committed to making long overdue water quality improvements and increasing enjoyment of Chautauqua Lake and shores. CLP is the only lake organization with active projects bringing new solutions to both in lake and watershed issues. To learn more about CLP, visit www.chqlake.org or find them on Facebook book at: “Chautauqua Lake Partnership, Inc.” to receive updates on the upcoming meet and greet event.
